ABOUT ME

Welcome to my website which gives you information about “Journey Together Counselling and Psychotherapy”.

My name is Creina Fegan FdSc, MBACP, NCS (Accred)  and I work as a fully qualified therapist offering brief or longer term, face to face counselling and psychotherapy within private practice and NHS in the Newry and Mourne Area.

I practice as an Integrative counsellor using a variety of therapeutic techniques, dependent on the individual needs of clients and what they would like to gain from their sessions.

Counselling is a way to enable you to explore your innermost feelings and the world as you see it. Working together to gain a new perspective on your thoughts, feelings, and emotions can give you support through your difficult times.

For a more relaxed and balanced life, seeking professional help can be a very big first step forward. We will work together to create a comfortable, and secure environment, where trust and mutual respect are paramount.

You will be able to talk freely, where you will not be judged and where you can work through your difficulties and challenging emotions at a pace that feels suitable for you.

By gaining a better understanding of yourself, ultimately, empowers you to have confidence, and can help you to overcome the barriers to reach your full potential. If you feel able to embark on your journey of self-discovery we can explore this together, in a relaxed setting to help you find your own way on the road ahead.

Through confidential, empathic listening, and discussion, it is possible to gain awareness of yourself and others, which can enable more informed decisions or changes, in behaviour going forward.

As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling Society, (NCS):
- I abide by their Ethical Framework and Code of Conduct which includes a Complaints Procedure.
- I hold Individual Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- I adhere to the strictest Confidentiality Policy.
- I undertake regular Professional Supervision.
- I undertake Continuing Professional Development Training regularly.
